814 Truck & Equipment Services LLC is a rapidly growing diesel repair facility specializing in heavy-duty trucks, trailers, equipment, and light-duty diesel pickups. We service all major platforms including Kenworth, Peterbilt, Volvo, Mack, Freightliner, as well as Powerstroke, Cummins, and Duramax trucks.

A large portion of our business includes road calls and field service, so versatility and the ability to perform under pressure are key.

Position Overview

We are seeking a high-level diesel technician capable of advanced diagnostics, major repairs, and working both in-shop and in the field. This is not an entry-level position—we’re looking for someone who can think, diagnose, and execute without constant supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Advanced diagnostics and repair on heavy-duty and light-duty diesel platforms
• Engine, transmission, and drivetrain repair/replacement
• Electrical, emissions, and aftertreatment system diagnostics
• Work on trucks including Kenworth, Peterbilt, Volvo, Mack, Freightliner
• Service light-duty diesels (Powerstroke, Cummins, Duramax)
• Perform road calls and field service repairs (a major part of the job)
• Maintain high-quality workmanship and efficiency
• Properly document repairs and diagnostics

Qualifications

• 3+ years diesel mechanic experience (heavy-duty preferred)
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
• Experience across multiple diesel platforms (heavy + light duty)
• Ability to work independently in both shop and field environments
• Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus)
• PA State Inspection License is a major plus
• Own professional tools
• Reliable, motivated, and takes pride in their work
